WASHINGTON 鈥� Prolific D.C. developer PN Hoffman is putting its money where its mouth is, permanently moving its corporate headquarters to The Wharf development on the Southwest Waterfront.
PN Hoffman is half of the Hoffman-Madison development team, a partnership between PN Hoffman and Madison Marquette. The team is behind the first phase of the $2.5 billion project, slated to open this fall.
PN Hoffman will move from a temporary office space within the former Channel Inn building to the second floor of a 12-story building at 760 Maine Ave. Southwest, where it will occupy 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art office space.
“You can鈥檛 beat the views and the level of recreation allotted by the waterfront, the proximity to great dining and entertainment options for all, as well as the incredible access to the rest of the city that is only going to increase with the addition of the water taxi and the free jitney and shuttle services come October,鈥� PN Hoffman founder Monty Hoffman said.
鈥淭hese offices are designed to support our growing urban mixed-use platform,” he said.
Phase I of The Wharf, on the Washington Channel of the Potomac River, will open with several entertainment venues, residential buildings and office space and a marina. The grand opening is Oct. 12.
Construction of Phase II of The Wharf begins in 2018.
