Moby Dick House of Kabob expands to Baltimore

WASHINGTON 鈥 Bethesda, Maryland-based Moby Dick House of Kabob will open its first restaurant outside of the D.C.-metro area in Baltimore.

It will be Moby Dick’s 23rd location.

The Baltimore location, in the Hampden neighborhood at The Rotunda 鈥 a development that includes apartments, shops and other restaurants 鈥 will open in November.

鈥淏altimore is a great city and we鈥檙e excited to become part of this community. We look forward to building relationships with the people here and serving them delicious food,鈥 said Mike Daryoush, the restaurant鈥檚 founder.

Moby Dick opened its first restaurant in Bethesda in 1989.

It most recently acquired longtime family-owned Bethesda restaurant Stromboli, located next to its Bethesda Moby Dick location on Wisconsin Avenue, and will reopen the Stromboli restaurant, with the same name and a similar Italian menu, after renovations, early next year.
