WASHINGTON – A woman was fatally stabbed in a daytime assault near the Southeast D.C. line on Wednesday.
Police found the woman unconscious and not breathing. They responded to the 3000 block of 30th Street SE just before 10 a.m. for a report of an aggravated assault.
Police were looking for a heavyset man who was to believed in his mid 30s and was seen in an alley nearby.
