WASHINGTON 鈥� D.C. police said detectives have spoken to a person of interest in a fatal stabbing in the Chinatown neighborhood early Wednesday.
Police chief Peter 海角社区appham said officers were responding to a report of a robbery in progress in the 600 block of 7th Street NW around 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a victim in the roadway suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was taken a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
海角社区appham said detectives with the homicide branch spoke with a person of interest in the case.
Police are not releasing the victim’s identity until they identify the next of kin.
