DC police capture escaped homicide suspect

A homicide suspect who had escaped from custody on Friday was captured hours later, D.C. police said.

Aaron Adgerson, 17, who was last seen at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington in Tenleytown around 6:45 p.m. was apprehended in Northwest at 11:45 p.m., D.C. police said Saturday morning.

Police had said they considered Adgerson a danger to the public.

He was arrested on Monday and charged as an adult for a homicide incident on the 1400 block of Good Hope Road in Southeast D.C. on Jan. 25.
