WASHINGTON — It’s time to grow better聽food, one band at a time.
聽brings聽its annual聽all-day聽concert to Jiffy Lube Live on聽September 17 in Bristow, Virginia.
The star-studded includes Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp,聽Dave Matthews (feat. Tim Reynolds), Alabama Shakes, Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats,聽Jamey Johnson,聽Margo Price, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Carlene Carter and Insects vs Robots.
Pre-sale begins at noon Wednesday and will end at 11:59 p.m. Sunday — or when tickets sell out.
Ticket rices range from $49.50 to $189.50.
Each person can buy up to four tickets.
The concert was founded in 1985聽by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young, who were inspired by the Live Aid benefit concert put on by Bob Dylan and others earlier that same year.
Dave Matthews joined the trio in 2001 to create a four-man board that hosts聽the annual event of聽food, music and hands-on activities. Since 1985, Farm Aid has聽raised more than $50 million to help family farmers across the country while inspiring millions to take part in the Good Food Movement.
