Restaurant options for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the DC area

WASHINGTON — A variety of restaurants are open for Christmas Eve dinner. Here are some of the most festive (and delicious) options.

goes all out with holiday decorations with abundant fresh garlands, twinkling lights and a tree. The brasserie聽is open until 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve, making it a festive spot for cocktails or an early dinner.

Relax with loved ones and family at . Chef Eric Ziebold prepares a five-course meal that includes dishes such as chicken-fried sunchokes, Maine lobster french toast,聽Paupiette de veau and much more to choose from. It鈥檚 $125 per person.

At , there is a three-course tasting menu and dishes including za鈥檃tar-spiced New Zealand lamb with sweet potato polenta, black trumpet mushrooms, artichoke confit and more. End your night with sweet treats including bouche no毛l with orange g茅noise, coconut date cream and vanilla bean gelato. Also,聽Equinox聽is always聽vegetarian聽and vegan-friendly.

has joined forces with Chef Russell Smith, from The Source, to create a family-style, Chinese menu for $50 per person (tax and tip not included).

Drink specials, a DJ and doing good 鈥 it鈥檚 all part of Christmas Eve at . At the 鈥淔alafel Frenzy鈥 at 9 p.m., all proceeds will go the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and its efforts to build a stronger Jewish future locally, in Israel and around the world. Christmas Day events

Just because Christmas falls on a Monday doesn鈥檛 mean there won鈥檛 be plenty of options to dine out to celebrate the holiday.

At 聽in D.C., Executive Chef Irvin Van Oordt plans to serve bao buns, dan dan noodles, and soy-soaked pork ribs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at a street food-centric Blagden Alley eatery.

At ,聽there鈥檚 a continental breakfast wrapping up at 10 a.m., followed up by a Christmas Day brunch ($110 per person) set to include a cold buffet, juice, coffee, tea or tisane, Harvest Virginia cider, bottomless mimosas, bloody mary and sangria. It鈥檚 half off ($55) for children ages 5 to 12. For dinner, there鈥檚 an a la carte or three- or four-course option for $110 and $150.

鈥檚 eatery and its lounge will offer an a la carte breakfast menu from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The restaurant will then host a three-course, all-day holiday meal from 12 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. There鈥檚 starters like seafood, seasonal salads, breads, meats and cheese, followed by plated entr茅es and family-style side dishes. The meal is priced at $125 per person for adults and $55 for children aged 6 to 12 (beverages, tax and gratuity not included). Kids under 6-years-old get in free.

At , customers can order from the seasonal a la carte menu or savor a three-course, prix fixe holiday menu.聽Newly appointed Executive Chef Bryan Moscatello will be preparing a variety of starters such as Lamb Neck Ravioli with chervil beurre fondue, Ossau-Iraty cheese and braised pearl onion and Foie Gras with huckleberry. Dinner is from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and tickets are priced at聽$60 per person and $30 for children 12 and under.
