In area acquisitions and mergers, Xerox is offloading its information technology outsourcing or ITO business to ATOS for an estimated $1.1 billion. Krauss Maffei Wegmann will acquire Diehl Defense land systems which builds different types of tracks for tanks and armored vehicles and Hexcel Corp has acquire Formax UK Limited, a manufacturer of carbon fiber and specialty reinforcement materials.
