Uber to deliver flu shots on Thursday

WASHINGTON 鈥斅燭he ride-sharing service Uber is offering to bring flu shots to you on Thursday.

In 35 cities, including D.C. and Baltimore, will bring a 鈥渨ellness pack,鈥 including a water bottle, tissues, hand sanitizer, lollipop and recyclable UberHEALTH tote, to an indoor location for $10. That gives the recipient, and nine others of his choosing, the opportunity to get free flu shots from a registered nurse through Passport Health.

To get the pack and shots, open the Uber app between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday and select the UberHEALTH option, then pick your 鈥渟uitable indoor鈥 location (Uber鈥檚 words).

The service has branched out in recent years from simply ferrying people around to bringing puppies and kittens to workplaces and more. This is the second year for the flu-shot program.
