WASHINGTON — Investigators from the Fairfax County Fire Marshal鈥檚 Office and police department are asking for the public鈥檚 assistance with any information about several car fires occurring in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 18.
Fire and police units responded to reports of seven vehicle fires between the hours of 3:50 a.m. and 4:40 a.m. The locations were all in the Little Rocky Run neighborhood:
- three occurred on Chapelwood Circle at Hart Forest Drive
- two on Laurel Rock Court
- one on Rockland Drive
- one on Rock Lawn Drive
It is unknown whether or not the same person is responsible for all of the fires but police would like anyone with information to contact the Fire Marshal鈥檚 investigators through the Police Department鈥檚 Crime Solvers program.
