WASHINGTON – Redskins fans hoping to commemorate Robert Griffin III’s official debut in burgundy and gold can now wear an homage to their new QB.
Fans Only, LLC is releasing a collector’s edition RG3 T-shirt that reads, “The Most Interesting Man in the League: Rookie Season 2012.”
The design is a play off of an ESPN “College Game Day” video of Griffin’s abilities at .
The black shirt, which also features the Heisman Trophy winner’s visage and signature, will begin printing “the minute Robert Griffin III is drafted by Washington,” according to the Fans Only release.
Griffin’s arrival in Washington has been heralded by Redskins fans as the start of a new era for the team, which has been looking for a franchise quarterback since Joe Theismann’s departure more than 10 years ago.
