WASHINGTON – Alexandria police are investigating a fatal crash that killed a 92-year-old woman who was walking along Key Drive Sunday afternoon.
Police say Suzanne Kominski, 92 of Alexandria, was walking with her husband in the 1200 block of Key Drive when a car pulled out of a driveway and struck her.
Kominski was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead several hours later.
The crash remains under investigation.
