UPDATE 9:44 a.m. 12/1/2013: According to Pepco’s website, there are now 600 customers without power.
EARLIER:
WASHINGTON – Pepco is reporting about 1,110 power outages, almost all in Silver Spring.
A traffic signal is out at 16th and East West Highway. Pepco says a downed overhead line in the area is causing the outage. No estimated time of restoration has been given yet.
