ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A frank conversation two Fairfax County parents had with their 9- and 6-year-old daughters revealed something that shattered their trust in the children’s babysitter.
The sitter, Heriberto Urratia, is charged with one count of raping the 9-year-old.
He was arrested June 11.
Parents of a 9-year-old girl became concerned about their daughter after talking with the two girls.
“The young girls were talking with their parents and using language that typically children of that age may not be familiar with,” Lucy Caldwell, Fairfax County police spokeswoman, tells .
The girl told police Urratia, 25, routinely assaulted as he babysat her. The crimes allegedly happened in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County.
Caldwell tells 海角社区app there may be additional charges.
