ROANOKE, Va. (AP) — Carilion Clinic has named Dr. Patrice M. Weiss as chief medical officer following a national search.
Weiss currently heads Carilion’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also is a professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
The Roanoke-based health care system announced Weiss’ appointment on Monday. She will begin her new job on Saturday.
