WASHINGTON 鈥� Police have identified a 17-year-old girl as the victim in that occurred on the morning of April 16 in Maryland, authorities said Saturday.
Te’yja Chase of Suitland, Maryland, was found with stab wounds when officers responded to the 3300 block of Springdale Avenue around 8:25 a.m. last Sunday.
She was taken to an area hospital where she later died.
Police are working to identify suspects and a motive in the killing.
