Report: Reality star Josh Duggar paid nearly $1K for Ashley Madison accounts

WASHINGTON — Ashley Madison, a听website for people searching for extramarital relationships, was hacked last month, and the personal information of many of its users was 听On Wednesday,听the hack claimed its first celebrity victim.

that one of those users is former “19 Kids and Counting”star Josh Duggar, who reportedly spent $986.76 on two accounts between February 2013 and May 2015.

Duggar’s first account was opened in February 2013; the second, in July 2014. Both accounts overlapped by a few months;听the second account was closed in May of this year.

The credit card linked to the first account was under the name Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches that of his grandmother in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The second account is linked to the same credit card, but the billing address is his Oxon Hill, Maryland, home.

Duggar also paid a $250 “affair guarantee,” which promises users an affair within three months. They are refunded the money if they are unsuccessful.

Duggar resigned from his position with the Family Research Council in D.C. earlier this year, after it was revealed that he sexually assaulted five girls as a teenager, including two of his sisters. Records of the investigation were destroyed.
