Preview: Nationals face the Miami Marlins on Saturday

UPDATE: April 9, 12:30 p.m., Saturday’s game against the Marlins has been postponed until May 14 due to weather.

WASHINGTON —聽The Nationals face the聽 Miami Marlins Saturday, with Washington鈥檚 Joe Ross getting his first start of 2016.

The game is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. at Nationals Park.

Ross, 5-5 in his career, will be making his 14th career start today and 17th major League appearance.

Bryce Harper, with two home runs so far this season, is one away from 100 for his career. Harper with a home run today, at 23 years old, 聽would make him the eighth youngest to reach 100 home runs, putting him ahead of Albert Pujols, Hank Aaron and Ken Griffey Jr.

New addition Daniel Murphy leads the team with five RBIs. In his first three games he鈥檚 4-11 with a single, double, triple, and a home run (the cycle over three games) along with three walks and a run scored.
