The Will Ferrell movie about the human who grew up at the North Pole and thinks he鈥檚 an elf, only to learn the horrible truth and head to New York in time for Christmas becomes a stage musical. Performances run through Jan. 9; go to the website for details and tickets.

Nov. 28: National Christmas Tree Lighting
The 96th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting includes musical performances from Abby Anderson, Anthony Kearns, the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Gabby Barrett, LOCASH and more, as well as the lighting itself, on the Ellipse in President鈥檚 Park at the White House. The lottery for tickets already happened, but you can most likely watch on a livestream at the 鈥 they showed it last year, at least.
