WASHINGTON — Howard County police are warning residents in the Allview neighborhood of Columbia, Maryland about a possibly rabid raccoon.
Police wrote on their Sunday that they have received several complaints about the animal in the last 24 hours.
The raccoon was spotted near the Patuxent Branch Trail, the 10200 block of Wayover Way and teh 6700 block of Flapjack Lane.
Police warn that if residents聽spot a staggering raccoon, oblivious to nearby noise, or otherwise erratic they should leave the area and call 911.
