Md. health group goes old-school to get around Obamacare glitches

WASHINGTON – Since the health-insurance exchanges contained in the Affordable Care Act went online Oct. 1, they’ve been plagued by glitches. But one Maryland health-care group has found a way around them – going back to paper.

According to the Healthy Howard had only been able to complete five enrollments in the exchange in the first week online.

But on Thursday, Eric Masten of Healthy Howard told the Reporter that since turning to paper, his group had handled 195 more applications.
